"I moved to Providence from L.A. and this is a store that reminded me of home...finally!
I was desperate to find a last minute birthday present, having found nothing at the mall (ugh!), I was running around thayer st. like a madwoman. I looked up and saw the sign, told the salesperson a little about my friend and she helped me put together the perfect gift! my friend was thrilled. they have all the beauty stuff you read about in Vogue and Lucky, but can never usually find. anyway, the girl offered to touch up my makeup since i was going out and i got so many complements. now whenever i have an event i make an appt to get my makeup done and stock up on whatever items i need. go here, you won't be disappointed."

A Great Find in Providence
"I just visited Facing Thayer with my daughter who is a student at Brown University. The spa is walking distance from her dorm, and in addition to offering a wide selection of services also has an amazing beauty boutiqe that sells many different lines of perfume, skin care and makeup products. My daughter and I each indulged in a spa package...the facial was amazing - totally relaxing, but theraputic at the same time. the skin care therapist was very knowlegable and took the time to do a thourough skin analysis and discuss our skin care needs and concerns. We also had manicures and pedicures. The service was done perfectly with lots of attention paid to our cuticles, rough patches, a great massage, and perfect polish application. I would highly recommend Facing Thayer. The staff, atmosphere, products and services were all perfect and greatly exceeded my expectations."

"I just visited this adorable spa to prepare for my wedding...
I sampled everything they had to offer...facial to make my skin glow, waxing to get ready for my honeymoon (FYI - Jess's Brazilian wax is the best in Rhode Island - she's fast, thourogh, and made me totally relaxed and comfortable!), manicures and pedicures for myself and maid of honor the day before the wedding, and a flawless makeup application that looks amazing in my pictures. The staff was friendly, knowledgable, and skilled. The spa was clean, open, and beautiful...they have a new lifelong client in me!"

Spa Experience Rivals much more expensive Competition!
"I went to Facing Thayer a few days after it re-opened (it was formerly Therapy Beauty Bar) for a facial and I have since returned for a mani-pedi. The facial, though, was on par with some of the best facialists in the business and the rates are much MUCH lower. The facial included a glass of champagne and some great skin care tips along with great conversation from the owners. I would definitely reccomend Facing Thayer to anyone who wants a quality facial and the store carries some of the best skin care available."
